I had, probably still have a tendency to go stand outside and just stare, watching ....
September 2nd 2022 I witnessed an event out in the back field.
Common Buzzard
I spotted a Common Buzzard on the ground but it was what happened next that really caught my attention.
I couldn't see whether the Buzzard had caught something but the Red Kite was either after that or didn't like the Buzzard being around.
The Kite was really going for it too.
The attack
The Kite made a few passes at the Buzzard
That's all I have, I don't remember if the Buzzard flew off, the Kite gave up, nor if the Buzzard did have some prey that the Kite fancied but, an event worth seeing.
