It took many years for the photography bug to really bite me. I've been carrying a camera in some form for a long time and really wish I'd taken more interest but, the past cannot be changed. I have never considered myself a Photographer, rather, an enthusiastic amateur. Add to that my love of a good walk, gives me plenty of opportunities for wildlife photos. I started taking an interest in bird photography in S Wales, living next to a decent sized lake helped and having easy access to quiet rural walks only added to it.
Moving to a very rural location in Central Scotland has only enhanced my access to birds and wildlife.
We are now into our fifth year in this location and we still love it, I am loving the wildlife in general but it's the birds that I spend most of time watching and photographing
